Jennifer Wagner is an award winning mosaic artist and lover of creative projects. A native to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, she specializes in large scale community projects, murals, and installations in homes and businesses throughout the United States. Her gallery work is collected by art connoisseurs from around the world. She has curated her own galleries as well as assisted with the curation of art installations in museums and galleries. She believes that art is the communication between one’s authentic self and a physical medium.

Her style and palette are unique and inspired by the landscapes around her: wetlands, creeks, rivers and farms. Jennifer has instructed community arts outreach programming since 2006, and teaches popular workshops to creatives of all ages. A professional artist for 19 years, Jennifer has dedicated her life to the creation of beauty in the world. She has a studio in Easton and lives in her hometown of St. Michaels with her daughter, two cats and two beagles.

Workshops & Classes

Small Project Workshops

Small Project Workshops are 8" x 10" glass on glass mosaic projects. Each participant chooses their own design and are provided with all necessary tools, materials and instruction. The classes can be held in your home, at a restaurant, or in my Easton studio. I grout the projects after class and arrange for easy pick up. Spaces are limited.

3-D Workshops

Mosaic a 3-D mushroom sculpture using stained glass, ceramics, mirror, beads and agates. I will also have fairy garden doors and windows if you'd like to make your mushroom into a little fairy house! No Experience necessary! Mushrooms are created out of durable outdoor materials. Perfect for a fun spot inside your house or outside in a garden area! We cover design skills, breaking techniques and adhering. Projects will be grouted by instructor and picked up at a later date. You must be registered in advance to attend.

I believe that everyone has the ability to create art. That inside of us lives a unique style based on personal preferences that have been molded by our individual experiences in life. My teaching philosophy borrows very heavily from the Montessorri style of teaching to the individual. In my classes I am helping you discover your way of creating mosaics, not teaching you to replicate or copy another's style. The ablilty to create without a time limit lifts the pressures of a deadline which allows one to go back and change work as an idea evolves. No experience necessary.
